Everything sounds so good, and also very light and refreshing. My son-in-law chef does scallops in grapes and cream and fresh dill that is very good, also.

All your appetizers sound yummy. The tropical cake also is something I'll try someday when I have more time.

I hope you're not taking on too much, this is a pretty ambitious menu! How're you feeling now?

I haven't been around much the past month or so - busy with DH and some heart arrythmia problems. He's had one cardioversion procedure, and is having a second one this Friday. He's also on Coumadin and the levels are way out of sight too high. Lots of blood work and trips to doctors. Then my dear old 97 year old aunt died several weeks ago and we've been working on her estate. My sisters and I are her only living relatives, so have been planning her service, etc and working on clearing out her house and getting it on the market ready to sell.

Enjoy your get-together with old friends - it sounds lovely and I know you'll enjoy it. Just take care of yourself while preparing all this food!
