1970s Food - The Slow Cooker (Crock Pot) Was Sooo Popular

The slow cooker (crock pot) was a very hot kitchen item in the '70s.

The most common early uses was to throw chicken and a can of cream-of-something soup into the cooker on the way out the door and have dinner on the table within minutes after they arrived home from work.
