About Potatoes in Cake

Misc.

Over the years, I have used either in my cakes. We couldn't tell the difference. I'm sure it's supposed to be plain mashed, without milk or butter, but it always seemed that when I wanted to make the cake, the leftover mashed potatoes were in the fridge and being lazy, I didn't want to take the time to make some more so used what I had. Worked for me!
