Betty(Bloomin Onion Help)

Misc.

I have the one with the metal blades and after it is cut I make a batter with eggs and seasoning and pass it through each petal with my hands which helps open it more. Then I put the bloomin onion in a deep bowl and take the flour and seasoning mixture and open the petal and pour flour mixture over it opening petals. Then when my fire is hot I pull out the onion and set it on top the flour so i can get flour on the underneath and shake off any excess flour and fry face down first then later turn over. Hope this helps .
