I do have the plastic onion cutter and thought it was because of that, that it didn't work.....I will keep trying also. Wonder if you're supposed to gently pull the "petals" out before dipping in the batter ? Naturally the picture looks so beautiful but it sure did taste good. Couldn't get the core to come out either. Oh well !
