Recipe: bloomin onion

Misc.

Here's how i do mine. I cut mine in sixteen cuts. I don't have the gadget for cutting, so i use two spoons laid alongside the onion to stop me from cutting all the way through. I also core the center before cutting. I boil it in water for a few minutes then plung it into cold water. Dip it in the liquid mixture, then the flour mixture, then the liquid mixture and then the flower mixture. I let it sit in the fridge for about 15 minutes. then put it into a hot fry daddy. Hope this helps. they are very good.
