biscotti, etc.in ABM

Misc.

Hi Betsy,

I noticed that book - sounds great. Wanted to say that Lora Brody's book on bread machine -- I forget which of the 3 -most likely the one on desserts, has recipes for mixing biscotti in the bread machine. I tried it 2 to 3 years ago and it works. Her ABM book on pizza, flat breads, etc. also has some interesting ones to do with the ABM - crackers, etc. I remember making something with black pepper and red wine (I guess they were to nibble with your espresso) - you rolled little sticks out of them and then formed them into circles ... theywere good. I'm sorry - I'm up here ... and my books are downstairs ... tho I only have 1 of the 2 I mentioned ... other I checked out of the library.

But doing the biscotti dough in the bread machine is great .... also easier to clean than my food processor. So I think any one that wants to check out the book you mentioned would be more than pleased.
