Recipe: No Bake Fruit Balls

Desserts - Candy, Chocolate
NO BAKE FRUIT BALLS

1 (6 oz.) pkg. mixed dried fruit bits
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
1/2 c. brandy
1/4 c. margarine, softened
1/4 c. white Karo syrup
2 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
Powdered sugar

In small bowl stir together fruit, nuts and brandy; let stand 1 hour.

In medium bowl beat oleo and syrup until well blended. Gradually beat in crumbs until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add fruit mixture; mix well.

Shape in 3/4 inch balls, wetting hands if mixture becomes dry. Roll in powdered sugar. Store in airtight container up to 1 month or until ready to serve.

These keep well for a long time. Especially good at Christmas.

Makes approximately 60 balls.
