Br zeli

Misc.
I have an old Jura Br zeli iron that was sent to my mother from Switzerland (50+ years old). It makes the most wonderful cookies but the wires burn out every once in a while. I tried a newer version of the iron that I borrowed from a friend and don't like it at all. It pressed the cookies out too thin, and the back two pushed forward so that they weren't a complete circle. I certainly will not spend $300+ for one. Have looked into the krumkake irons, but it looks like it only makes one cookie at a time. That would take forever. Don't know what the answer will be for me.
