Brrr - yes, still here!

Misc.
Hi Jackie - we decided to stay through the end of September because our summer was pretty nerve-wracking with Ed being in the hospital and going back and forth to Boston so much.

Now that he's doing so much better, we decided to have a "late" vacation time and it's so beautiful here in September but the nights are getting pretty nippy out here next to the ocean.

Our friends could not believe how much better our lobsters are - when I told them that we still had 7 more lobsters up in the tank at the lobster lady's that had our name on them, I asked if they wanted to have another meal of lobster again in the next couple of weeks - and he said "how about tomorrow night!"

Ed fixed his specialty - freshly dug clams the halfshell on the grill with bacon and butter dabbed on them - she had never eaten clams in her life and she must have eaten about 10 of them! She's a Kansas girl - don't get too many clams and lobsters out that way!

We have more than enough left over for a night of Lazy Man's lobster, too. The spiny lobsters just aren't the same - I know what you mean - we tried them on our cruise last January and didn't care much for the taste nor the texture. Guess it's all what you've grown up getting used to.

Love, June
