Cake mix in bread machine

Misc.

Betsy, that sounds like it turned out really well. My machine is old (4+ years) and doesn't have that feature tho it does have quick bread (which I didn't like for banana nut or pumpkin nut, etc.) so seldom use. Just curious - how long from start to finish does your batter bread cycle take?

That shape would be great for slicing and topping with ice cream and then a drizzle of fudge or caramel sauce .... say a fudge cake? Oh boy. Have you tried brownies? Maybe too dense.

I'e already wrapped the bread machine I bought my son and daughter-in-law and tho I checked it out pretty good - I don't remember if it has that cycle or not! Now I have to wait until they open it to find out!

Will be interesting to hear other comments and something for me to think about when I purchase a new one - most likely in the next year ..... I use mine about 2 times a week and it is beginning to show its age/wear.
