Chef training help needed

Hi there. I'm not sure this is the best place to be asking, but I am set
on changing careers (I lay tile and some heavier mason work) and am sort
of thinking about studying to be a chef. Why not - I have some money put
aside and I love to cook at home and am not too bad at it.

So I am wondering if there is a good resource out there anyone has seen
about culinary schools. Something on the net or elso just a book.

You help is appreciated.
