Hi Christine,

Sorry to hear about this mishap, to me, when things like this happen, I get a little upset because of the waste of money in the food involved. Believe me, it has happened to me too!!

Ok, when you cut up the potatoes, cu them into small cubes. That way it takes less time to make them soft. Also, another trick is to cover the pan with a lid; the steam will soften them up.

About the beans...when you put on the pressure cooker, don't put it on high but rather on med. My mother always tells me slow cooked is better. Put the heat on med even though they will cook a bit longer.

I have burned beans also because of high heat. Boy, was I mad!!

Hopefully you will try again as thease disheas are really worth it. Please let me know how it comes out.
