Cindy, Marsala wine is imported from
Misc.Sicily & made from local grapes. It is Italy's most famous
fortified wine (that is a wine to which brandy or other spirits
have been added to increase the alcoholic content, like Port
or Sherry). It has a rich, smoky flavor that ranges from sweet
to dry. I don't know where you live, but if you ask at the
liquor store, they will most likely have it. It could be
shelved with the Ports and Sherries. If you are going to use
it for the chicken recipe, make sure it is a dry Marsala & not
a sweet, dessert type. It will keep forever.
