Continental chicken

I really should have posted this long ago. It REALLY is quite good. i have not becuase it is not the best for the health minded ~~ sorry!
I have done for company so many times I can't count -- even got request for it have eased up a bit on it lately ... gotta do again and throw caution to the wind!
Continental Chicken
6-8 chicken boneless breast/ 1 per person
6-8 slices bacon
1 can cream of chicken (mushroom works)soup
8 oz. sour cream
Wrap each breast in bacon, place in baking pan
Mix soup and cream cheese, pour over chicken
cover and cook for 2 1/2 hours at 300o - 325o
I serve with cooked linguine noodles.

variation for fancy place frozen artchichoke hearts (if you can find them!) and mushrooms atop chicken then sauce

My gormet brother would request me to make this every time he visited!

I use the I use the frozen chicken breasts from the club stores. I prefer the way the bonless skin on freezes so i buy that and remove most all of the skin i think it helps it freeze and not dry out in freezing. i even leave on one or 2 skins for those like me :)

VERY unheathy -- very good!

great to put in oven before church and come home to ....
