Recipe: Homemade Hot Jalapeno Mustard

HOMEMADE HOT JALAPENO MUSTARD

1/4 cup yellow mustard seeds
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons dry mustard (such as Coleman's)
1 tablespoon honey
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.

Makes about 3/4 cup (36 servings)
