Cookie Press and Non-stick baking sheets
Misc.Hi Daisee:
Last year I made spritz cookies using a cookie press. The first few cookies I pressed out onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and had a horrible time. The cookie wouldn't stick to the parchment paper as it was coming out of the press and as a result when I lifted up the press the cookie came with it instead of the cookie sticking to the cookie sheet and breaking away from the press. I noticed on Martha Stewart's Christmas special when she made spritz cookies that she pressed them out onto unlined (neither parchment nor silpats) and ungreased cookie sheets. That's what I ended up doing last year and the cookies turned out fine. Good luck.
