Thanks for all your research - this is really fascinating, and I almost wish that we hadn't opened it - but, then we wouldn't have know the joys of those wonderful flavors -

Re: the crystallization - I looked at the bottom of the bottle last night and saw a bunch of crystals on the bottom of the twigs - and these are DEFINATELY real twigs, not plastic.

There's such a blend of flavors - the finish as you swallow it is almost anise but even that is elusive.

I will try to find out how old this bottle is since the label is pretty faded and no dates show.

The Martini & Rossi website is a good idea - wish you were all here to sip along!
