My condolences for your mother's passing. I perfectly understand your pain! Right now I am recovering as from a long sickness. But she loved me so much that I am sure she wants my life to continue.

I am glad you went to Santo Domingo. It is such a wonderful country and its people are so warm. I know that such a visit with such loving and generous people must have been great for you.

The salchich n was El Campesino brand, my favorite one, and it was brought by one of Nina's cousins. Nina is still with me, in charge of my property at Vega Alta. I think we are so used to each other that she refuses to return to her home and I really cannot survive without her wonderful assistance!
