Recipe: Homemade Italian Salad Dressing (blender)

ITALIAN SALAD DRESSING

"Margie Bohl has used this recipe for more than 25 years. Although she keeps trying new recipes, she always comes back to this old favorite."

1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons salt
3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
3/4 teaspoon basil
3/4 teaspoon oregano
3/4 teaspoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon cracked pepper
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

In blender, combine oil, onion, Parmesan cheese, salt, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, basil, oregano, sugar and pepper. Blend for 30 seconds.

Add red wine vinegar and lemon juice and mix for another 30 seconds until well combined.

Makes about 3/4 cup
