Debbie, isn't it amazing the memories

Misc.
that food can bring back to us? I love the old recipes, even though I tend to play with them a little. In this Texas Hash recipe, for example, I sometimes use a couple cans of tomato sauce instead of whole tomatoes. Mushrooms are great in it also. The tomato sauce gives it a different texture, but my family likes it better that way, I think. My niece who teaches with me, and I will be having the last of the Texas Hash for lunch today. We take turns bringing lunch, which is fun in itself!
Have a great day, Debbie! I just love your menus and recipes. I have a feeling we may cook alike in many ways
