Getting use to Montreal.

Misc.

Hi everyone , just wanted to let you know I am getting use to this big city
of Montreal, after leaving my beautiful mountain foothills and my home and
family in Alberta. This is definately very different that what I have been use
to. I can't get over how old everything is here. It is incredible. We
certainly don't have buildings like these in the west. I just love the design
of the homes . I love history so I am finding them very interesting. I wish I
could get inside a few of them for a peek. I am managing to get around as I can
usually get lost in the closet. I do find the weather very different .
Although it is generally milder that the Alberta winters I am use to they always
seem to have such a bitting cold wind here. No Chinooks. Yuk! Oh well I have
vowed to make this a positive experience as we are only here for a couple of
months then off to London Ontario, for a couple of years. So here's to new
adventures. Have a great day everyone and I will keep you updated. Would you
believe I am even trying to learn French. Wish me LOTS of LUCK in that field.
God Bless
