Hi Kathy;
Does your sister crochet or knit? Folks seem to be more sensitive to the cold as they get on in years. A pretty afghan would be nice or crocheted or knitted slippers or gloves.
Cross stitch samplers and family tree charts are always nice. Are these ladies in their own homes and do their own cooking? Knit dishcloths are the best dishcloths I have ever used, she could crochet matching pot holders and purchase coordinating dish towels.
