Gladys....

Misc.
Dearest Gladys,

I read in your posting that you are taking Zetia for high cholesterol. Try having a bowl of oatmeal every morning...you would be amazed at what it does to cholesterol. My DH had triglycerides in the 600's and now they are in the perfect range due to oatmeal. Of course, I also took ice cream and oreas away from him to help the situation! But oatmeal does do wonders.

I am so relieved to hear you are doing much better. Every day will be a challenge but I know you can meet that challenge and you will get better to the point that you will be your old self again. You'll see!

I will have Mama send you a card or letter as she does not have a PC. She might not be up to visiting you this summer as she might have to have knee replacement surgery this summer. Poor thing, her knee pain is affecting her walking and mobility. But I will get her in touch with you. I will ask Betsy for your address to give to Mama. You now, she still talks about meeting you with my sister in Puerto Rico and how wonderful that visit was.

Feel better, dear Gladys, and know that you are treasured here at The RecipeLink.
