Gladys - about those ants -

Are the ones that stung you those fire ants like we have here in FL - they are really nasty and can do big damage. People end up in the hospital if they are bitten in large numbers, and any time I've gotten a bite, it always gets a pustule of infection in it before it heals.

Here, they tell you to rub it immediately with straight Clorox and it's supposed to help prevent that infection.

Here in FL, you have to "rustle" the branches of shrubs or hedges as you're trimming them, since nice little black snakes like to curl up in the shade of the inner branches! Nothing like critters in FL! It's mating season for the alligators, and we've got quite a few in our canals in back of our house. One of our friends had two curled up on their back lawn last week!
