Recipe: Banana Shake (using ice cream, blender)

BANANA SHAKE

"Frozen bananas are the secret ingredient to this thick and delicious shake. Wrap peeled and sliced overripe bananas in plastic and store in the freezer for an instant boost to any shake or smoothie."

1 1⁄2 cups lowfat milk
1 frozen banana, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 cups vanilla ice cream

Place ingredients in blender jar in order listed. Place cover on blender jar. Holding cover in place, turn blender to low for 10 seconds. Turn to high for an additional 30 seconds until smooth. Serve immediately.

Makes about 3 cups (6 servings, 1/2 cup each)
