I am extremely sensitive to fire ants and found a product>>
Misc.that really works to relieve the itch from almost any insect sting and if applied immediately after the sting or bite, keeps any reaction from forming for me. It is called After Bite Itch Eraser. It is only about $3. and is sort of like a fat pencil shape with a clip, so that I can carry with me when I'm in a situation where there are fireants or mosquitoes. It is ammonia based. I'd never heard the clorox tip, but ammonia also will work. AfterBite is really wonderful. I've found it in Walmart and some Publix stores carry it in the pharmacy, but I had to ask for it, it wasn't on the shelf. Glad you're feeling better, Gladys.
