Dearest June: I think the fire ants are bigger. The ones that

had biten me in my back patio are extremely small, you almost cannot see them, but they run in patches of hundreds of them. They are very fast too. And they cause the same results as the fire ants.

Other critters in Puerto Rico are scorpions, centipedes, black widows, cockroaches, rats & ants. But, at least, not for the moment, cocodriles.

I will check for a good exterminating service before I get bitten again.
