Misc.
June, your "haul" sounds wonderful, too! You have been busy!

I, too, love the snow! It is a rarity in these parts. We went to Whistler (local ski spot, quite famous) over Xmas last year, it was just beautiful...and the white stuff just kept on coming; it was a record year for snowfall.

We just finished watching a beautiful movie, filmed in Ontario, with lovely scenes of X-country skiing. I highly recommend the movie, it is based on a short story by a very talented Canadian author (Alice Munro) I don't know if you are familiar with her work, but the movie is great acting as well as a compelling storyline. And great scenes of snow-covered cottage country in Ontario. DH and I both enjoyed it. It is called "Away from her", and spans the relationship of a couple over their marriage, beginning when she develops Alzheimer's and needs to go into a nursing home, flashing back over the years of their marriage.

It is rainy today so we made a fire and watched a movie!

Have a great week, and don't forget to eat your salad!

xxoo,

Carolyn!

p.s. apple dressing sounds great, June...pls do post!
