Half chicken broth and half beef broth...

I think I first saw this in a Cook's Illustrated recipe for Beef Stroganoff and it did make it better, I thought. Many of their recipes now use this combo when using beef broth and it works well for me. I usually use Better than Bouillon paste that comes in a jar, 1 teaspoon to 1 cup water for the beef broth and either homemade (no salt) or Swanson's low-sodium chicken broth.
