Heat wave in the forecast here, too!

Misc.
Tomorrow is the last reasonable day forecast (in the 70's) and we are going to be up in the 90's after that, for the duration.

I picked up some green mangoes today, to try a green mango & napa cabbage salad that Betsy posted. Salads are definitely in our future, too.

Ok, it makes me a bit unpopular, but I quite like the heat...I am from Ontario originally, and the summers are very hot (much like MA, I think, hey Jackie?) but natives of these parts are much more comfortable in the moderate temperatures. I also like the snow, for the little we get, it is a novelty. Also not a widely held opinion!

Altho, I have decided, a good place to work/be for someone my age (hot flashes) might be the freezer section at the grocery store! and that's another thing...in the heat, no-one notices a hot flash because everyone looks like they are having one, too!

Have a great day, ladies, and be sure to post any salads that you try worth passing along!

Cheers!

Carolyn!
