help find coriander root or panang paste

We love panang curry and had found a great panang paste through Thai Kitchen which has apparently been discontinued, although they won’t return calls or e-mail messages. So …
1. We’re looking for another source for panang paste.

We have found a recipe for panang paste. Among other things including coriander seed, it calls for coriander roots which I have been unable to source, even through places like Penzeys!
2. Can anyone recommend where to find coriander root or an appropriate substitute?!
