Hey Gina....

Misc.
I was going to tell you that my G-ma lived in a place kind of like the town of Whistle Stop of the"Fried Green Tomatoes" fame.It was very scenic.A one road town that consisted of a Post Office,General & Feed store. With a railroad running off to the side. Her huge 2 story house with a wrap around porch was in the middle of everything. It used to be "The" Hotel before her & G-pa bought it!It used to house railroaders & people passing thru.I remember as a child family get-togethers there. The highlight of these were of course the food,ha & seeing relatives who came from near & far.My G-parents had 7 boys & 2 girls. Each of these had at least 4 children a piece.Hence, the huge family.Anyway, the cousins would all get togeher & take a "walk" around the block after our meal,ha.We had a special song we would sing which we made up.It was always sung when we got together.I remember people looking up as we walked singing by,they would wave or join us in our walk & song.I miss these days...but I also know that good times are still to be had!& that we're making good memories as we speak. Its funny how as a child it didnt take much to amuse or entertain us.We didnt need alot of toys, etc..Our imaginations or a good book could always inspire or entertain.Well I better go for now,you friend Mickey A simple meal tonight:

Canned Vegetable-Beef Soup
Grilled Cheese w/Bacon & Tomato
