Hey June, a ? for you...

Firstly, I often see ham hocks in the store, but I did not know how to prepare them until I saw your post.

Everything looks great, and we love beans. I try to get more of them into our diet, so even as a main dish, I think this would be awesome.

ok, here's my question: do you just leave the hamhock in there for flavouring, do you pull it out altogether, or do you pull it out and remove the meat, and add it back to the pot of beans?
