Recipe(tried): Chewy Chocolate White Chocolate Chip Cookies (like Domino Cookies)
Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, BarsThis is not the exact recipe, but it comes very close. I myself have been looking for the domino cookie recipe too, and luckily I found this one online. I made it tonight and it comes very close to the original. Hope they turn out ok!
CHEWY CHOCOLATE WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
1 cup butter , softened
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 cups flour
1 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder*
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups white chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease cookie sheet. (I always use a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper)
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Add the vanilla and salt.
In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder and baking soda; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until fluffy and still soft. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
*I used Hershey's dark chocolate cocoa powder. It will look and taste like the original. Also I only used 1 cup of cocoa powder instead of 1 1/4. The original amount seemed too much to me. They still tasted very chocolaty.
