Recipe: Cinnamon Candy Cider

CINNAMON CANDY CIDER

1 quart (4 cups) apple cider or juice
1/4 cup crushed cinnamon-flavor hard candies (about 8)
3 to 4 drops red food color (optional)
candy canes (optional)

In medium saucepan, combine cider and candies. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 4 minutes or until candies dissolve.

Stir in food color. Serve warm in mugs or cups.

MAKE IT SPECIAL:
For a fun presentation, hand a candy cane on each mug of cider to use as a stirrer.

Makes 8servings (1/2 cup each)
