Hi Johanna!

Misc.

This soup practically saved my life the first week I dieted because I ate it whenever I felt hungry, and it's really very flavorful as well as satisfying with all those vegetables in it. I'm sure you can throw whatever vegetables you have on hand in it with equally good results.

I got the Weight Watchers' "Pointsfinder" when I joined WW and this is what I use to figure points for all my non-WW recipes. But I do use WW's cookbook, "Simply The Best" a lot as I've found all of their recipes to be excellent. If you'll scroll down to a Tuesday, 8/11, post by Margo-Texas, you'll see two recipes that I posted there. The "Creamy Chicken & Spinach" is a recipe from that book, and each serving carries 4 points. The other recipe, "Penne Pasta with Fresh Tomatoes & Basil", is a Cooking Light recipe that carries 7 points per serving.

Then scroll down to my post of Wednesday, 7/29, "Recipe: Spaghetti-Turkey Pie". This recipe is from the above WW cookbook also, and carries 6 points per serving. I make this one a lot because it's very tasty and filling - it sounds weird but it well worth trying.

I have another post of that same date, "Recipe: Strawberry-Yogurt Pie", which is also from "Simply The Best" and has 4 points per serving.

So there you go - you have enough here to try a dinner and dessert! If you'll let me know what type recipes you'd be interested in (pasta - chicken - pork - salads - etc.) and what your basic likes and dislikes are, I can pick out more selections from this book for you.

Don't you find that this new WW program is pretty easy to use and follow? I like remembering to eat within my points range much better than keeping track of calories.

Janet
