Hi there Ruth! I use turkey all year round...
Misc.Gladys is quite right, you can sub it anywhere you would use ground beef.
We only eat beef maybe once a week around here, but my teens love chili, tacos, spaghetti sauce and that sort of thing. I usually use ground turkey or chicken, that I grind myself from breast meat, and freeze in 1 lb portions.
Also, having cooked the meat and ground it, you can freeze it for later use, if you wish.
Barring all that, I would be happy to send my two DS over to mow through what you can't handle! :-)!!
Cheers!
Carolyn!
