Ih/OH...keeping lettuce

Misc.
has been a big problem for me too since there are only two of us at home and do not go through things as quickly. Here's my latest discovery "miracle". I have been washing the lettuce(usually romaine or spring greens around here) and draining it and blotting excess water with paper towel. I put a dry paper towel in the bottom of a Glad Fresh Protect bag, squeeze out ALL the air and seal. My lettuce has kept for two weeks. This is one product that really does what it says!!! Another idea...for celery, wash and trim, drain, wrap in Saran Wrap and then in aluminum foil. I haven't thrown out any "wimpy" celery since I started doing this. Hope this helps.
