Lemon Grass
Misc. You are right. The Chineses, Vietnamess and Thai uses the lemongrass roots for curry and the leaf for teas. For curry - cut from 5 inch right from the roots and crush it to get the smell and taste. Vietnamess crush and minced the root to fry it with chicken - it is very simply but delicious and it bring out the favor of the lemon grass. It grow really well in Houston - I lost my plant two years ago while I moved from the apartment to a house and now I am starting a new plant.
