Manyhats - good to hear from you, too -

Misc.
This kind of weather puts me in the mood to do some cooking - if only to warm up the kitchen! But, when we get home to FL, it's still in the low 90s for a few weeks, so I have to readjust until late October and the humidity leaves.

Just made a great lemon pound cake and it smells so good - going to frost it with lemon glaze. We have friends from Montana/FL coming to the campground today for the next couple of weeks before they head back down to FL too -- so I'm planning on lobsters, corn on the cob and lemon cake for tomorrow night's dinner with them. They've never been in New England before so we're looking forward to sharing our life here with them.

Hope you sell your cottage up north - where is it up north? We made two trips to Upper Michigan and Minnesota this spring and I had forgotten how beautiful Lake Michigan is - I could almost see moving back to my home town except for the winters, which are almost worse than our Massachusetts winters were.

Staying later here on Cape Cod this year is going to let the leaves get a chance to turn and we hope to get some nice color as we head out on our trip at the end of the month.

Did you put your RV to good use this summer? Where do you end up in FL?

Love, June
