enable you to export recipes from the net (they have to be in Mastercook format tho'), save recipes on the disc, shopping list, cost per meal, resize recipes, etc. I found my copy at Price Club (warehouse type store here in CA) for a whopping 7.99. This format is big around the net, so if you get your copy, your sure to find alot of support. There are even sites that are devoted strictly ot Mastercook (sometimes called MC) Hope this helps!
