Recipe(tried): Here is my Garlic Mashed Potatoes. It's rich so we don't have them to often.

Menus

Garlic Mashed Potatoes
( I usually half this recipe)

4 pds. potatoes, peeled & quartered
8 garlic cloves, peeled & left whole
1/2 stick butter, cut into pieces
1 cup 1/2 & 1/2, warmed
2 tbl. sour cream
1/4 cup chopped chives or parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cook potatoes & garlic in boiling water until tender. Drain well. Add rest of ingredient while mashing.

I always get compliments when I make these.
