mixer vs. food processor

Misc.
I have both a 6-quart professional KitchenAid stand mixer and a 14-cup Cuisinart food processor and I love them both. Both can handle big loads of dough. You might consider which one you would get the most use out of in general. The Cuisinart could slice, shred, etc as well as mix. They may appeal to you. The Cuisinart won't whip egg whites or whip cream like the KA. I think the Cuisinart is slightly stronger than the KitchenAid when mixing dough, but they both do a great job.
