mixer vs.food processor

Misc.
I have both the Kitchen Aid mixer and a large Cusinart (Its old and i've forgotten the size - but I know I can make 3 - 4 loaves of bread dough at one time).
For biscotti I prefer the Cusinart. It seems to 'do' the dough better than the KA.
I love my KA mixer and use it for many things but the only biscotti I've made in it that we thought was easy was a 'softer' 'wet' dough one. I've heard that the Kenwood is very good. I think KA is good - but not as great as it was when Hobart made it - I think its Whirlpool now. But it (my KA) is well used.

Both clean easily - I usuallyput the Cusinart bowl and blade in the dish washer. If I was doing by hand it would be more awkward.
The metal bowl of the KA I do not put in d/w but it cleans easily - as do the beaters, hooks, etc.

Just my opinion - I don't want to hurt the feelings of the army of KA devotees!
