Most important part of 1st B-day

TO ME THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF A FIRST B-DAY IS THAT THE SPECIAL CHILD HAVE THEIR OWN SMALL CAKE, OR IN MY GRAND DAUGHTER CASE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE PIE, TO DIG INTO AND EAT/SMEAR ALL OVER THEIR FACE ALL BY THEMSELVES. GREAT PHOTO OPS.
AS FOR THE FOOD FOR THE REST OF THE GROUP, BAR-B QUE, POTLUCK CASSEROLES AND SALADS ARE ALWAY A HIT WITH A NICE CAKE.
