My 81 year old Father mentions this bread often
Misc.I wish, like you, I could find a reliable recipe for it. For a while, a bakery in his town in AZ had it once in a while, he was on their call list when they made it. Same thing in MI where he is from, the bakery there that used to make it all the time only makes it on certain days now. I'm not a fan of the smell of it toasting, but it tastes good to me. I'd be interested in any reliable recipe anyone finds....
