My pleasure, Amy!
Misc.Your new job sounds fantastic for you, good luck!
Me, I just got laid off. But I sooo wanted to quit and start a new business, so I am the happiest laid off person you've ever met! So I am busy moving all of that forward, but it is the right time for me to do it, and now I get to do it with a little bit of financial support! Yippee!
My kids are almost outta here; yesterday my younger son turned 18 (he is in his last year of high school, and is off to university in the fall), and my older son will turn 19 tomorrow (no, that is not a typo...they are less than 1 year apart; for 2 days per year they are the same age!), he has just finished his first year of college and now has a work assignment component before he goes back to his 2nd year. I think he wants to move out in about 6 months or so. So we shall see.
Meanwhile, they do help out around here, and rightly so. Everybody (no matter how small) can help to get dinner happening when Mom gets home from work. That's just good sense, and gives the kids a feeling of being part of the team.
So Go Team Amy!
best regards,
Carolyn
