I have baked in it before. in the cookwell but also with another pan inside the cookwell. Baked goods come out wonderful.

I don't like the RoastAir mainly because I don't find that it changes things too much. Mainly I don't like it because it uses up a lot of energy and my kitchen has problems with all that extra wattage. I only use it for cornish hens and things of that nature. I find it easier to sear first and then put it in and I get a better crust and a better look to my food.
