No Shoo-Fly Pie???

Misc.

When I was a young girl, my mom got a recipe for Shoo-Fly Pie. She used to have me cook it up because she and her sisters liked it.... I'm not really sure my Dad did, though. Anyway, every time I had to make that recipe I used to tell mom that we needed the recipe for Apple Pan Dowdy, too. Then I could sing that old song while I cooked it all up.
Mom thought I was a big nuisance, and took away the recipe.
I almost forgot about the recipes til I saw this posting. Now that I have "the other recipe", I have to get the first one again. Then my old wish can come true. ;-) LOL
